When your Surpass Cloud library system is first deployed, we configure your Surpass Cloud system with various settings based on your type of library. These defaults are designed to help you get up and running quickly without having to set up everything from scratch. Of course, these are only our suggestions as a starting point, you are in control and can change any of these settings to fine tune Surpass Cloud for your library!

School Library
Public Schools, Private Schools, School Textbook Repositories
Patron Types
K-12 patron types are designated as "student" patron types, meaning that they support automatic advancing to the next higher grade level using the Patron Maintenance and Patron Import features. They also have Lexile reading level ranges assigned to help students and educators locate resources in the OPAC.
