Options and Selections

  • Include titles not owned by the library - Sets whether patron searches by award or year include titles not owned by the library. Setting this option gives the patron the full view of the awarded and honored titles, but it also includes resources that might not be available in the library. If you want to show only resources owned by the library, leave this box un-checked.

    • List library-owned titles first - If you select to include titles not owned by the library, this option allows you to group the titles that are owned by the library at the top of the list with non-owned titles below.
  • Include nominees - Some awards & honors include information on titles that were nominiated but did not ultimately place in the award or honor. Setting allows you to select whether to include those.

Awards & Honors Selections

Below the options is where you select which awards and honors you want to include in Surpass Cloud OPAC. The awards and honors are grouped by category: Biography, Children, History, Fiction, Non-Fiction, etc. Click a category heading to open that selection and make selections. Only one category section is visible at a time, but the selections you make in one section are not lost when you open another.

Some of the category sections are further divided by state or regional interest.
