# Custom Resource Reports

Although there are a large number of pre-defined reports in Surpass Cloud, one of its best features is that it gives you the freedom to create your own Custom Resource Reports.

Just follow these steps:

### [Select an Existing Report or Create a New One](/docs/resource-report-custom-select)

You can create and manage your own personal reports, share reports with other users, or use reports that someone else has created.

### [Design Your Report](/docs/resource-report-custom-design)

Next, design your report by selecting which fields you want to appear in it, how you want it sorted, paper margins, fonts, etc.

### [Select Records](/docs/resource-report-custom-select-records)

Select which resource records you want in your report.

### [View Report](/docs/viewing-and-printing-reports)

The report can be viewed on-screen, printed, or downloaded as a PDF. See [Viewing and Printing Reports](/docs/viewing-and-printing-reports).
