# Field Count

The Field Count report lists the unique contents of a selected field and the number of times that field appears in your bibliographic records.

## Options

- **MARC field to count** - Select the MARC field you want to be counted.
- **Range of values to count** - If you want to count a specific range of values for the selected MARC field, enter those here. Ranges are compared by starts-with. For example, if you enter "Abe" as the **from** value, the report would include all values that begin with the letters "Abe" through all that begin with the letters you entered in the **through** field.
- **Include withdrawn resources** - If checked, the report will include resources that have a status indicating they have been withdrawn.

          Multi-Location/Branch Library Systems

          

If your library is part of a system that has multiple locations or branches, the report will be based on the selected location at the top of the page and whether you have selected **All Locations** or **Selected Location Only**.
